| I found this old story that I wrote.....
A Story- by Rachel
Jane looked out her window and noticed the scenery was all the same. "Well, what do you expect?" Jane voiced out loud. "We are in Illinois and Illinois sucks." (note: this is before I lived in Illinois) "I beg your pardon!" said the man in the gray flannel suit who sat beside Jane on the Greyhound bus. Jane eyed him suspiciously. "I said I beg your pardon. You're supposed to say 'excuse me' in return. It is the rules of proper conversation." The man appeared offended. "Yes, but I couldn't help but notice the extremely large booger hanging from your nose!" "Oh dear!" The man clapped his nose in horror. He proceeded to pull a handkerchief from his pocket and vigorously scrubbed his nose. "I am vigorously scrubbing my nose", he told Jane. "I can see that," she replied calmly. "Now, as I was saying, I beg your pardon." "Why, look, the bathroom's empty!" Jane pushed past the man and entered the restroom located at the rear of the bus. She took her time going about her business and then washed her hands for 10 minutes. When she returned to her seat, the man looked about ready to resume the conversation. "As I told you once before, I beg your par..." "Could you please move your seat forward???" hollared a rather large woman seated behind the man in the gray flannel suit. "Oh yes, forgive me!" The man then turned to Jane once more . "Now, let us resume this finally." "Oh look, this is my stop. Nice meeting you." Jane took her suitcase in hand and stepped off the Greyhound bus.
The End

| Textbooks on the toilet are much better than magazines on the toilet. [keeps the bathroom free and available for other folks, you see]
Speaking of textbooks, yes, I've been reading away like crazy already. Started school threeish days ago, and it's been somewhat busy already. It makes me kinda nervous, but ....I know I can do this....if I can only avoid those lazy moments. But oh man, I can't wait for these two years to pass quickly.
I should upload a picture of me in my school uniforms. They were ordered by College of Dupage, not myself, otherwise they wouldn't be the bright pepto-bismol color that they are.
